Sara’s Iced Pumpkin Pie Latte

Most people call Christmas the most wonderful time of the year. In my house I can PUMPKIN season the most wonderful time of the year. If we have ever met in person than you know I have been obsessed with those cute big orange squash like objects since I was a little girl. I think my love for them started because my birthday is the week of Thanksgiving and some years like THIS YEAR it falls on the actual day. I now to this day can’t celebrate my birthday without a homemade pumpkin pie from my girl at The Wicked Spoon.

As soon as the madness begins I buy everything that comes in pumpkin flavor because hello I HAVE to try it, Trader Joes takes all my hard earned money and coffee shops everywhere suck me in with sometimes 2 or 3 pumpkin spice lattes a week. ;) But can I be honest with you? Im a single mom who is on a budget and definitely doesn’t need the insane amount of calories that are in those drinks so I came up with my own version that is healthier for you and honestly way tastier. (TOTES not just saying that) I hope you enjoy this slice of heaven because it really is easy to make and takes like no time at all.

Ingredients:

1 cup almond milk

1 tablespoon coconut sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla

2 tablespoons pumpkin

1/2 cup fresh brewed coffee or espresso

1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

1. Brew your coffee

2. Pour almond milk, coffee, pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, sugar and vanilla extract into your glass with ice.

3. Mix all ingrediants together

4. Enjoy your amazing fall drink
